Information
The Auxiliary Strap (one supplied with every rack) must be used when carrying more than 2 bikes. The strap is used to prevent flexing and reduce possible shock loading on the tow bar fitting. Certain vehicles require 2 straps. The Auxiliary Strap is used to hold the MAXXRAXX completely rigid. Any flexing is prevented, thereby reducing possible shock loading on the tow bar fitting. It has been specially designed to prevent damage to vehicle paint work. The Auxiliary Strap comes as standard with the MAXXRAXX and must be used at all times.
